To launch the new Mercedes SUV “GLA” we created a user experience website that reinvented the art of storytelling. We came up with a breathtaking road trip story of a guy for a 15 min shortfilm, which we called ‘’The Forgotten Roadtrip’’.

The story line litteraly is split in more than 130 different pieces. Like memories, that are shattered into fragments. Some of them are moving images, some are cinemagraphs, stills or animated gifs. Only because the pieces are put back in a certain order – like a mosaic – the whole story can be revealed by the user.
USING PINTEREST FOR PROMOTION?
We also used Pinterest to get more medial attention. We created images that were about 2000px high and cut them into 3 postings and therefore made sure that our target group couldn’t help it but saw our posts.
